The sliding Fly screen is an aluminium fly screen with fiberglass mesh, equipped with panels (from 1 up to 4) that slide leftwards and rightwards. This fly screen is very practical and suitable for small and wide windows.

The fly screen mesh is housed in a slim-line spring loaded cassette, which is positioned at the top of a window. When the window or door is open, simply deploy the screen using handles on the sliding bar. When the window isn’t open, or at times of year when insects aren't a problem, the screen is retracted and hides away in the cassette. All of our screens are fitted as standard with a brake system, which slows the recoil of the screen into the cassette - preventing noise, damage or trapped fingers.

This is a made to measure pull down/push up screen. The fine insect mesh is highly effective at keeping flies, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, spiders & other insects out whilst maintaining excellent airflow and minimal reduction in daylight. Just what you need to make the most of those warm summer days!

The screen can be fitted into the window recess (between the side walls, top sill and bottom sill) or straight onto the window frame and you can choose a White, Brown, Cream White, Light Grey, Anthracite Grey or Black frame to suit your requirements. We also offer a colour coating service if you need to match a specific paint colour. This screen represents a wise investment if you’re looking for a good long-term solution rather than a cheaper short-term fix. The system will serve you well for many years and if somehow the mesh gets damaged it can be replaced.
